The Shed – Architectural Designed Commercial Construction in Miami

A great oportunity to construct this high level finish, commercial shed for our client on a tight commercially zoned block in Miami. 

It took precision planning and co-ordination to install the 10 metre tall concrete tilt panels, which were formed onsite and lifted into place and secured using an 80 tonne crane. 

Recycled red bricks from Melbourne were freighted in to be installed as the front feature wall, and an enormous 5 metre high clear plexy-glass panel lift door was installed for access to the expansive internal space.

The client briefing was clear “the best shed on the coast”.  Plans were drawn and adjusted to suit budgets.  Months of planning went into the logistics of this build, such as”how do we get the panels and the crane that lift them  on-site at the same time”?

Working with our team of specialist contractors and dedicated lifting team from Gold Coast Cranes, the panels went into place without a hitch.  Although the site made for a difficult build the end product was well worth the effort.

In August 2020 S.E.Q Construction Group won the Master Builders Regional Awards for Industrial Building up to $5 million.
